Amber's collection

As you may know, I'm obsessed with podcasts. I even wrote a whole blog post about which ones are my favorites. Well, I was mentioned on one of them! Amber Lilyestrom is at the top of my list. She talks about mindset, business growth, lifestyle, she interviews amazingly inspiring people, and she's a New England girl like me, she lives in New Hampshire and is obsessed with it's beauty and calm. I swear, we should be friends.  Anyway, Amber very graciously said in one of her weekly podcasts, "how can I help you?"  For some reason, this prompted me to want to help her back. The Sisterhood - a love story

This is the necklace I wear every day. I've been wearing it since last Spring. Even though I made it, It was purchased for me by one of my closest friends, a sister by choice. Turn it did. And kept turning and turning and not opening the lock.  It was a beautifully sunny Saturday and a few casual shoppers passed by. I called the locksmith. He can come help me...

Inspiration - Cecelia's name and generations...

My daughter turned 9 this week. Her birthday has me reflecting about what it's been like watching her grow, and all the inspiration she has given me. One thing that I keep coming back to is how much she reminds me of my Grandmother, who she is named after.          My grandma died while I was pregnant with Cecelia, I was there with her, holding her hand. I knew that I was having a girl, and that my baby would carry on a piece of this funny lady's legacy. So I had to use her name. Problem was, my grandmother's name was Anne. Anne Fey Shelley. Naming my daughter Anne seemed a little self involved (even for me), Fey was...
