Big Goal Visualization

Big Goal Visualization

In the beginning of a month I like to make a monthly vibe bucket list.

This morning I wrote some intentional words for August, "beach days, friendships, fun, sun and water on my skin, great car music, wet hair, grilled dinners, morning hikes, laughter..."

Setting the intention for the vibe, I hope August will hold.

The next thing I like to do is set a big goal.

Do you ever feel like you want to set a goal for yourself but the thought of choosing the right goal feels so overwhelming that it turns out that maybe your goal is just to settle on a goal? Meta, I know.

Goals can be super helpful though when you are trying to move the needle forward.

Here's my favorite way to set a big goal for the month, I did it myself this morning...

It's a quick and easy visualization and it only takes a couple minutes but you do need to get still and quiet, so make sure you're set up for that first. I do this first thing in the morning before I get out of bed.

Close your eyes and take some slow deep breaths, getting yourself in a clear space.

Now imagine the last day of the month (this month it's a Sunday). Imagine that you are waking up on the last day of August feeling grateful, accomplished, proud and fulfilled. You got it done. It feels so good to have gotten it done this month.

What is it? What is the one big thing that you got done this month? How does it feel to have accomplished that goal?

That's your big goal for the month. Put it somewhere you can be reminded of it often. Bonus if you can break it down into smaller action items.

This practice is one of the ways I help my clients in The Studio (my group coaching program) stay on track with their goals.

Not only do we do this practice at the beginning of the month, Studio members then get coaching, support and accountability to ensure success.

Have an amazing month/week/beginning 💕
